How to Play Orchidia

Your mission: save Orchidia and stop Orchus from getting free by matching flowers and winning charms to unblock the river and restore Orchidia’s magic.

Controls

• Mouse Control Move the mouse left or right to move the flowers left or right. Move the mouse down to speed the flowers up. Left- or right-click to rotate flower clusters.
• Keyboard control Use the left and right arrow keys to move the flowers left or right. The down arrow key will speed the flowers up. Use Z and X to rotate flower clusters.

The Basics

• Match 3 or more flowers in horizontal or vertical lines – more flowers=more points
• Use flower matches to complete level tasks
• Completing level tasks sometimes releases awards.
• Collect reward by matching 3 flowers beside it.

Items to collect

• Powerup Charms: charms collected can be used in subsequent levels by earning 8 petals for the powerup flower. Earn petals by matching flower clusters of 4 or more.
• Orchids: collect all 12 orchids to reactivate the spell that traps Orchus.
• Ducky: brought to life by Orchidia’s magic, Ducky sometimes gets stuck in the river – get him back, you can’t go on without him.

Obstacles and Challenges

• Use flower matches and charms to save trapped animals or scare away villains.
• Grab flowers from the tributaries to assist with level tasks.
• Look out for ice floes, leaves, and flower-munching piranha.
